Emphasis on developing and upgrading of competences for academic teaching

Two focus groups on the Competence profile were held at the University of Rijeka

On 5 October 2017, the members of the focus groups were assistants and young lecturers from different constituent units of the University of Rijeka who analysed the proposal for the Competence profile for higher education teachers. The focus groups were led by Assistant Professor Marko Turk, Ph.D., a member of the project Working group.

The participants highlighted that the sharing of experiences and the discussion within the focus group provided them with new ideas that are important for their future work. The discussion held within the focus groups will serve to the Educa-T Working Group members for their future work on the Competence profile, as well as on the Curriculum for enhancing teaching competences in higher education.  The members of the Focus groups agreed that the Educa-T project is very important and all of them await for the project results.
