The current higher education policy aims at improving the quality and relevance of higher education. To ensure successful implementation of new initiatives it is necessary to support and upgrade the significant role of teaching staff in higher education institutions.
The Yerevan Ministerial Communiqué from 2015 emphasized the need to enhance the quality and relevance of teaching and learning in higher education. The Croatian national Strategy for Education, Science and Technology also identifies the quality of teaching and learning as a priority.
The Educa-T project “Emphasis on developing and upgrading of competences for academic teaching” is designed to support Croatian national endeavours. The Educa-T project aims at improving the quality of teaching and learning in higher education.
