As a part of the Educa-T project, the first workshop and second meeting of the Working Group for drafting Recommendations for the development and improvement of teaching competences at Croatian higher education institutions and Curiculum framework for teaching competence enhancement in higher education were held on 28 February 2017 at the Ministry of Science and Education.<\/em><\/h5>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The first workshop for members of the Working Group Educa-T project was held under the leadership of prof. emerit. Vlasta Vizek Vidovi\u0107. The purpose of the workshop was to determine the areas of competence profile of a university teacher and to sketch descriptions of competence areas in terms of knowledge, skills and personal characteristics (autonomy and responsibilities).<\/p>\n
At the second meeting of the Working Group of the Educa-T project, the work of the Commission of the Rector\u2019s Assembly for the interpretation and drafting of proposal for amendments to decisions on the necessary conditions for election to titles, which was presented by prof. dr. sc. Rudolf Scitovski, Vice Rector of the J. J. Strossmayer University of Osijek and the member of the Commission. Also, doc. dr. sc. Ines Du\u017eevi\u0107 from the Faculty of Economics, University of Zagreb presented the preliminary results of a survey conducted to analyze the situation and activities carried out at higher education institutions in the Republic of Croatia in order to improve the quality of learning and teaching. In the final part of the meeting, the members of the Working Group, together with the project leader Marina Crn\u010di\u0107 Sokol, planned the future activities of the Working Group.<\/p>\n
